The Joint IGAD and ANE project which aims at the provision of education and livelihood supports for targeted refugee, IDPs, returnees and host communities in the peripheral areas in Ethiopia and South Sudan officially launched as it was led by H.E. Dr. Workneh Gebeyehu, Executive Secretary, IGAD and H.E Ambassador Asfaw Dingamo, State Minister and Chairperson of ANE Board of Directors. This event was actively attended by Excellency Ministers, State Ministers, Ambassadors, Regional Government Officials UN Agencies and Partners.
On the subsequent event organized, the day was also marked to commemorate the 10th Year Anniversary of ANE which tributes the long journey and achievements of humanitarian works of ANE in the past years of services in Ethiopia and its successes gained in commencing its cross border humanitarian interventions in IGAD member states in collaboration with IGAD.
